Ruins of Saint Sion Church

The ruins of Saint Sion Church are located near the Garni Temple, within the historical and cultural museum-reserve 'Garni' in the village of Garni, Kotayk Province. According to sources, the church was built in the 7th century and today remains as archaeological remnants. The complex is situated in the southwestern part of the village of Garni, on the right bank of the Azat River, not far from the ancient temple and other monuments of the reserve.
