Yerevan 1 Cave

The Yerevan I Cave is an archaeological cave site in the Razdan Gorge in Yerevan. It is known for its findings of ancient humans: fragments of a skull, teeth of a child aged 8–12 years, and an upper incisor of an adult aged 30–40 years were discovered here. The site belongs to the ancient settlements of the Armenian Highlands and is related to the study of early habitation of the territory of Armenia. It is located in the Hrazdan Gorge, within the city of Yerevan.
