Garni Historical and Cultural Museum Reserve

The Garni Historical and Cultural Museum Reserve is a complex of protected monuments located in the village of Garni in the Kotayk Province. Its main feature is the Garni Temple, and the area also preserves the fortress walls, a bathhouse with a mosaic floor, remnants of palace buildings, and the ruins of the Saint Sion Church. The complex is situated in the southwestern part of Garni village, about 28 km east of Yerevan. It is one of the most famous historical monuments in Armenia and a site connected to the ancient and medieval history of the region.
