Misak Manushyan Park in Yerevan
Misak Manushyan Park (formerly Mashtots Park) is one of the liveliest and greenest corners of Yerevan, located right in the heart of the city, between Mashtots Avenue, Arami, Buzand, and Koghbatsi Streets. It was officially named in 2014 in honor of the famous Franco-Armenian poet and Resistance Movement hero Misak Manushyan. The park is a unique link between the old and new history of Yerevan. It combines relaxation and urban entertainment: comfortable benches, fountains, children's playgrounds, as well as cafes and an underground supermarket. It's a great place to take a break from the city's noise and enjoy the shade.
