Artashavan

Artashavan is a village in the Ashtarak community of the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. It is located north of the town of Ashtarak, at an altitude of about 1630–1700 meters above sea level. In the vicinity of the village, there is the restored Surp Amenaprkich Church from the 7th century, and not far away is the Alphabet Park at the foot of Mount Aragats. This small settlement is also known as one of the community villages of the Ashtarak municipality.
