Arpi Reserve

Arpi is a lake and its surrounding protected area in Shirak Province, Armenia. In 2009, a national park was established here, covering the area around the lake on the Ashotsk Plateau. The place is known as a wetland and mountainous natural complex in the northwest of the country, near the borders with Georgia. The area is located around Lake Arpi and is associated with the Arpi natural zone in Shirak.
